For this prompt I selected the book Test Words You Should Know.
It’s an SAT book.
One high schoolers buy to study for the test.
It’s always something I take off the shelf when I’m in the mood to read.
The plot is what gets me.
For the record I should have selected a children’s book.
So I can write about something simple.
Like a purple giraffe going to the supermarket or something.
But then again I don’t know of any children’s books that are 82 pages long.
That’s a long kid’s book.
Do kid’s have that long of attention spans?
It definitely wouldn’t be as simple as a purple giraffe going to the supermarket.
In case you actually care the words on page 82 are…
Incongruous
Inconsequential.
Incorrigible.
Incredulity.
Indelible.
Indict.
Oh god did I pick a bad book for this prompt.
What’s worse that I have an SAT book lying around or that I don’t know the meanings to any of the words?
That’s a tough one.
Let me think.
Wait…
Why the hell would a purple giraffe go to the supermarket anyway?
Oh yeah it’s a kid’s book.
I forgot about that.
They can go anywhere and don’t really need to make any sense.
Luckily for me these prompts have a similar set of rules.
